Stellar performances

Skid Row and Queensryche both still deliver the goods. Even without their respective original vocalists, both current vocalists nailed the songs in a way that the original vocalists probably could not at this time. All the hits were played. A couple deep tracks for the die hards. Excellent musicianship and vocals from both bands. Now for the bad. This venue is a horrible concert venue. They forced both bands to shorten their sets. Queensryche went from 16 songs to 11, because of the venue restrictions. All of the new songs I came to hear, were cut from the set, because of the venue. This was not a GA show. I paid good money for front row seats. It didn't matter because many fans in the rows behind me continuously tried to creep up into my seat. There was one security guard to regulate the entire row. He did an admirable job, but with that many people being sent back to their seats over and over it made for a ruined experience. I spent most of the night arguing with fans trying to get in front of me. If it was a GA show I wouldn't be complaining. But when you pay for front row, you expect to be able to enjoy the show without that nonsense. For that reason, I will never attend another show at this particular Cannery. It is not like this at Eastside Cannery.
